Crooks doesn't say much but when she does you should listen.
There is a line she says "A girl need somebody to be near her. A girl goes
crazy if she ain't got nobody." I think the defining point of her
character is all in a paragraph. She just wants what everyone else on the
planet wants: a place to belong and have someone around to rely on and love.
